New ap on different devices with shared cams

I use an iPad and two iPhones , the old ap I could pick which cams I wanted on each device.   I didn’t want some shared cams on my iPhone because it had 10 cams on video and would suck up my data so I just had those on my iPad.   To much of a pain to have it on download only when WiFi is available. Would pen up hundreds of videos. 

With the new ap, the shared cams show a separate tab.  I deleted those cams from my iPhone , not knowing that would delete them from all devices by deleting on one.   Now I guess I needed the owner of the shared cams to add me back. 🤕 

Any way around that , to have shared cams one one device and not on others ?

  Eventually, there is going to be a hide camera feature, but there isn’t one now.

  I don’t have any shared-to-me cameras so I don’t know if the download setting can be used on those. If it can be, then set download for each camera and tell it not to automatically download from the cameras you don’t want on the device. They will still be there but won’t download pics/videos unless you specifically request them. If there is a mix of cams you want pics from and cams you don’t, you can edit the camera order so that the cams you don’t want pics from are at the bottom of the list.

  Right now I think the only way around it would be to create a different account for the iPad and only have him share the cameras you want to that account.

  If you do as Johnny suggests, you’ll have to share your cameras from your regular account to the new account if you want them on the iPad, too. All the cameras will be under the shared tab.

  Got a message from spartan saying the hide cam option was on the most recent ver, but I updated yesterday and don’t see it.   Oh well, hopefully by the time I get the unshared cams back there will be an option otherwise I’ll just set them to don’t download on the phones.
