New app won’t download pics unless open

The old app I could leave running in the background and it would download pics as they came in. Ever since I downloaded the new app that feature has been gone?? I have to have the app open and using it to get the pics to load. It’s a PITA and takes away from instant information.
Auto download is on in the app and mobile features are on allowing background refresh. This is on a iPhone

  I'm not familiar with the iphones but Liz should be checking in soon.

  Downloads work on my iPads. I don’t have an iPhone and I’m not good with iOS. 

  May be best to call tech support, 770-582-0004 9 am-6pm Eastern M-F.

  i have the same problem with Android. Could be my old phone.

  Sounds like a flaw in the app. Tech said they’d call me back with a solution after they investigate further. I really hope they stick to it and get this resolved.
