New camera failed the namual send picture tets

Just setup my camera, will take pictures on the camera but will not send them. When I try to do the manual send test, it fails. I did the Wireless Diagnostic, Hello test, and that passes every time.

    What camera model and is the firmware up to date? Where did you buy your data from?

    camera is a Spartan gopro and I've updated the firmware ( so I think, it failed the first time), currently have version EC25VFAR02A11MRG. Have Verizon data

    If you just bought the data it may take some time to activate. The firmware version should be more of a date number. You can also try defaulting the camera in it's menu. If you activated the data through Verizon make sure they added it as a customer supplied device, I have seen them make that mistake before and then the camera doesn't work. Is this a brand new camera out of the box? The camera model should be GC-??????

    Sorry, the camera is a GC-Z4Gb. I have confirmed that I have service on the device and it shows to have signal. I will try to convert the defaulting the camera.

    the default did not work. I think its my Firmware not updating. I checked on the app, and it says un running firmware from 8/23/2018.

    When you turn the camera on does the status report update on the online portal or the app?

    You will probably have to update the firmware manually. Also make sure that your memory card is a class 10 and 32gb or smaller and format it in the camera.

    I have requested the firmware update manually on the site, and have the camera plugged in. It just says that the update was requested, do I just let it do its thing? doesn't look to be doing anything. The latest firmware version was a few months newer.

    Cancel those requests and then click on this link and follow the instructions for manually putting the firmware on an SD card and updating that way. Is your memory card a class 10 and 32gb or smaller?
