When my phone receives pics and I want to share one i click on the share button above the picture then click text message as the way to share but it says that it can't share files. The only way I can send them is to close out of the app and send from gallery. Galaxy s10e phone.

  You can try logging out of the app and then logging back in. Also check your permissions for the app and make sure all are allowed. Will it let you email a picture from the app?

  I have logged out and back in with no change. It does allow me to send/share through email. All permissions are turned on. Problem has been occurring since last update. Did the same thing from my old phone also.

  Are you using the stock messeger or a secondary app?

  I am using stock messenger program. I noticed after downloading spartan app that i now have two messenger icons. Neither work for sharing from app.

  Maybe try deleting the shortcuts and clearing the cache for the messenger. You could clear all your info too but you would probably lose all your text messages

  Tried that and it didn't change anything. I deleted app and re-installed. It brings back the 2nd message icon again as the picture above. When i try to share still getting this message. Im guessing its the app and not the phones?

  Try this, instead of having just one photo showing on the screen when you try and share try sharing from the main photo screen that shows a bunch of pics at the same time. Press and hold on one picture until you see the yellow box around it and then click the share button, see if that works better.

  You can try calling tech support and see if they can help, sometimes there's a setting on the phone, some phones are tricky, especially the Samsungs. In the mean time you could try downloading a texting app and see if that works, I use Textra.

  I would also double check the permissions of the app again, it can't hurt and make sure they are all allowed.
