gc-z4gb not sending pics

gc-z4gb stoped sending pics sd card was full. put in new sd card formated it and new duracell batteries .turn on get status reports said had a update sent comand to update still no pics tryed to send pic from set up screen said it sent but no pics

    Have you checked the portal to see whether the picture is there? I’ve not seen one say that the picture was sent without it actually being sent.

    in the app, there is an overwrite function. Make sure that it is on so that the camera will continue sending pics when the card fills. It will just write over the oldest pics.

    It sounds like you requested a firmware update, but I’m not sure. If that’s what you mean, did the FW update?

    If it's still not sending then cancel all pending commands and default the camera. Then try a manual picture again.

    it had saved pics on camera when sd card was full. i put in a sd card went to photo view and the pics appered so i deleted all and formatted again and yes it updated fw now works fine.i didnt think it could save to cam

    My camera has only been out 2 days. Today being the 2nd. My cousin placed it out for me yesterday. He went to move it today. It took pictures all while he was doing so. Keep in mind he never opened up the camera just moved it. Full battery, full signal on my app. My camera stopped sending pictures while he was working with it all of a sudden. I requested a HD picture and a status report. It stayed pending on my app for roughly 3 hours before i canceled the function. Any help would be greatful.

    Those things you requested won't happen until the camera checks in either sending a status report or a photo. There's a chance moving the camera may have knocked the SIM card or SD card out of place. Are you using external power or just the batteries in the camera?

    3:18 is the last time camera updated a status report. And the camera sent pictures after it was moved

    If i had my cousin go over, turn camera off. Push sd card and sims card out put them back in, and turn camera back on willi have to do anything special?

    Have him turn the camera off and reset the Sim and SD card and then turn the camera to set up. After the camera shows signal strength and bars of signal press the ok button to take a picture and then when it asks press ok again to send the picture. Have your cousin watch the screen to see what it says. Hopefully the camera eventually says sent. If it doesn't or fails he can go into the camera menu and go to diagnostics and do a hello test. See if that passes or fails.

    Sd card is a 8gb. Bought it from spartan itsself. Camera has sent a total of 35 pics before it up and stopped

    Did you get any night pictures at all? If so look at the P# on the bottom right of the picture and see if it shows anything other then P5

    I deleted the 2 night pictures from last night. But just looked at last daytime picture i got and in far right side all it says is P5

    Power save is in the camera settings on the app. Where did you purchase your data from originally?

    This is a bit tangential to the conversation, but there is no reason to delete photos from either the app or the portal unless it’s a picture of someone running around naked that you don’t want anyone to see. On the portal, pics are deleted after 30 days. 

    On the app, pics are also deleted after 30 days unless you have saved them. You can set that to something less than 30 days and any picture that you haven’t saved will be deleted after the number of purge days you’ve set. I use 7 days, some people use more, some less. 

    On the app, look under Settings.
