Where are my pictures

i have my new camera set up with AT &T and have only received the test pictures on my app. What am I doing wrong. I assume I have something set wrong.

    Are the pictures showing up on the online portal? How many pictures have you gotten since you activated the data plan and where are you buying the data from?

    The pictures are on my sd card. The data is from at&t and they claim that is working.

    Are the pictures getting to the online portal? When in set up mode once the camera finds signal, press the OK button once to take a picture and then again to send the picture. Watch what it says on the screen?

    Are you sure that the SIM card that came with the camera is an ATT SIM card? Most cameras now are shipping with a Spartan SIM card and you need to get your data from Spartan, not ATT. The Spartan SIM cards are white on the face except for the ATT logo.

    The camera shows that the service is at&t which we set up. I called spartan and they said the camera was set up with at&t and from what they could see the camera was working. We are just not receiving pictures. I guess I will have to put another call into spartan.

    The camera will show AT&T on the screen whether you buy your data directly from AT&T or from Spartan Camera. 

    Did you purchase your data from AT&T’s Buy-A-Session web site or from the Spartan Camera web site? 

    Did you set any scheduled events other than the midnight status report? If you didn’t, you may want to set up some scheduled events, either status reports or photos (or a combination) so that the camera checks in at least a couple of times a day even if there is nothing happening in front of it.

    You are probably going to have to go to the camera to do some testing. 

    Make sure you are using a name brand (SanDisk is a good one), class 10 (not 4 or 6), preferably with 80 MB/s or faster, standard size (not microSD/adapter), 32 G or lower capacity, formatted in the camera.

    After you take/send a picture or two manually and turn the camera on, it’s also a good idea to walk around in front of the camera until you get a motion-triggered picture.

    If you got the data from ATT and it was supposed to be through Spartan the camera will show as working from Spartans end but won't send pictures. If that's the case you may be able to cancel the plan from ATT and get the data from Spartan without having to go to the camera. Just purchasing the data from Spartan won't fix it, the ATT plan needs to be cancelled. This is all assuming that the plan was supposed to be purchased through Spartan. If you have the big card that the SIM card came in you may be able to contact Spartan and give them the number from that card and they can tell you if it's an ATT or Spartan SIM card.

    I am having the same problem with one of my cameras. I purchased the 75$ plan for a whole year from buyasession and it will send a test picture but when in live mode it doesn't. It is taking pictures when i walk infront of it but not sending them. I have 5 cameras and none have given me this trouble.

    Gca4gb is the model and i trued 3 different sd cards the one currently in it is scandisc ultra 16 gb 80 mb/s. New setup

    Firmware update today just to make sure. I have 5 of these cameras and 2 ghost and never had this problem

    Check the SIM card and the sleeve that it came in, the new cameras come with a SIM that needs the data to be purchased from Spartan, not buy a session.

    I switched to an att sim card so i could use the buyasession site. I have done this on 2 other cameras without trouble. Spartan tech says it just needs time for the update to go thru so we will see

    Yes, that's true and the last update was for connection issues so once it updates you should be good. If you are near the camera you can try getting it to take a manual picture and forcing the update, I'm assuming the update is an over the air request?
