Lance,
If this is a new AT&T 4G camera, it came with a SIM for data plans from Spartan Camera. Do you mean that the SIM was missing from the carrier card? If that’s what you mean, where did you buy the camera? I would be suspicious that the camera might have been returned and is being resold.
Adding the camera to your AT&T phone account is generally not the optimal way to run the camera. The most popular Spartan Camera plan is $36 for 3 months, 1 G of data, and includes premium service (app/portal). I’m not sure what the cost is to add the camera to your plan, but you’ll also pay $3-4/month for premium service, depending on how many credits you buy at one time.
The other option is to use AT&T Buy-A-Session, which is a separate data-only plan, $30/3 months/2 G data, $45/6 months/2 G data, or $75/1 year/4 G data. You would also buy premium credits from Spartan Camera if you use this plan.
The fact that the camera does not pass the Hello test indicates that you don’t have a data plan for that camera.

Lance,
Would you please email the IMEI of that camera to me at elizabeth.swoope@spartancamera.com?

Okay, it won’t hurt to put the small part right back in and level it out. However, that SIM is almost certainly a Spartan Camera SIM. The big card should say something about purchasing data from www.spartancamera.com. You’ll need to get AT&T to take that camera off your account, then purchase data from Spartan Camera using the SIM that came with the camera.
