Verizon Z4GB Signal Strength
So I have four of these cameras, and all but one is located in an area that has low signal strength. However, all four cameras always show a full 5 bars of signal strength. Many of these cameras frequently fail to send 10-15 pictures in a row (usually at night), and video requests rarely go through.
The only time they show less than 5 bars is when the will not acquire Verizon's signal at all.
Is this just my cameras or is this all of the 4G "Z" cameras? If not, is there any fix in the works? As is, the signal strength indicator is nothing more than an "on/off" indicator.

My Z and two Ws show 5 bars in an area where my phone gets 1 or 2 bars of 3G. Some of the difference is likely due to the larger antenna on the cameras.
Unlike your cameras, though, mine aren’t missing pics or videos. I sometimes request several videos back to back and they all come in. So I don’t think that all Zs do the same thing that your cameras are doing, but that doesn’t help you and your situation because you are obviously experiencing problems.
Have you talked to tech support about this?

Steve I have heard from someone that the 4g/LTE signal is either there or it's not as far as being able to detect it, not just the cameras but with most devices. He said it's different than your phone because your phone is searching for a 4g signal that transmits voice, not data and apparently they are different. I didn't hear this from anyone at Spartan so I don't know how true it is. Are your cameras firmware up to date? The last update helped a lot with the connection.
