Camera takes pictures every minute

The camera has intervals shit off and takes a picture still every min. also the time stamp will not change to the correct time. It’s a Isco

  Is the time zone set? 

  Do you have time lapse on? Is there a T on the info strip of the picture?

  Well autocorrect got me sorry I should have read that before sending.

  It’s supposed to say intervals/time lapse is shut off. Time zone is set to Chicago. I’m in Kansas. There is a M on the info strip. Last word is supposed to be uscb camera brand of wireless.

  Night and day. Nothing in front of the camera that should be triggering it either. It’s like clockwork every 50 seconds it takes a picture

  Can you put that camera in a drawer or closet where there is no possibility of movement? If you’re still getting those motion pictures, try defaulting the camera (third tab) and if that doesn’t do it, email support@spartancamera.com, give them camera model, S/N, and a description of the problem and what you’ve tried. 

  Warranty is two years, not sure what your status is, but email just once, include your phone number and time zone, best time to contact you. Make sure voice mail is set up and voice mail box is not full.

  I’ll give it a try tomorrow night. I reset to default right before I put it out. I have a message to support as well.

  Eric, if it keeps doing it you can also try updating the firmware, even if it's up to date you can try and update manually. You said you just reset the camera so this is probably not the cause but make sure there's no ants (or any insect) that might have gotten in the camera. They can cause false triggers by running over the sensor or laying eggs on the electronics boards.

  I’ll give it a try! Ants aren’t the problem I put it out one week ago in an evening. It took 10xx pictures killed the battery. Replace the batteries last night thinking maybe I had a setting messed up double checked it. It’s taken 900 pictures through the night. But I did notice the time stamp and date on the info strip were right after midnight. Burnt up half my batteries over night unfortunately.

  Reset the camera to default then request a setting update, but the fact that the date and time aren’t correct and are all just after midnight is not a good sign.
