    You’re welcome! It’s self-defense, plus I think it’s easier for people to look at the pictures with a list of what’s good about something or what’s bad and compare what they have to it than it is to describe all that just in words.

    I just bought two new ghost cams.  I went thru set up.  Once works the other when taking the test picture said card error.  Bought new cards for both cameras.  everything identical.  Any suggestions?

    Are they class 10 cards with a speed of 80 or better mbs? Also no larger than 32gb? Did you format the cards in the camera?

    yes.  They are everything they recommend I buy.  both identical set up.  One works....other does not.  I did not format cards.  I just followed the youtube video on set up from Dave Skinner . Thanks for you prompt reply.

    Try swapping the cards between cameras. If it’s a card problem, the non-working camera will work and vice versa. If it’s a camera problem, then they’ll stay the same.

    You need to format the cares in the camera. That may be your problem (and hopefully it is).

    The good thing about having two cameras is that you can swap parts like SD cards and antennas (and sometimes, but not always, SIMs) to get a better idea of what the problem might be. Glad it’s a card problem because that’s easy to fix.

    What will the difference in transfer speeds affect? Has it got anything to do with the cell (send pics) functionality? I run a variety of cams. 2 cards per cam. Most are 48 vs 80 transfer and have had zero issues in non cell cams. So would the 48 transfer speed cause a cell cam only to have issues or what?

    You may be ok with a 40-48 mbs card but from what we have seen there's less issues with the 80mbs or higher speed cards. I have seen where a camera was having issues with a slower speed card and replacing it with a faster card fixed the issue.
