Replace Batteries?

Been running two of these cameras for just over a month. Despite some quirks and hiccups I'm pretty happy. I am capturing photo and video, maybe requesting a download of hi-res and/or video once a day, and have taken about 800 photos (and, I assume, videos) on each camera. I loaded a dozen new Energizer Ultimate Lithiums when I put the cameras out. P5 shows up on every photo and app says 5.7v which tells me all is ok, but all I hear about is the battery suck from these cell cams. My question is, since I'll be in the general area next week, should I swap out batteries? I won't be back again for 6 weeks after this and don't mind doing it (besides the obvious cost) but if I don't have to, I'd rather not.

I probably would, just to be safe. I’m not a particularly good judge, though, because I run everything on external batteries with solar.

I think if your wait six more weeks those batteries may be dead based on the amount of pictures that your getting. I agree with Liz, I would change them just to be on the safe side.

Well, the river was too high to cross, so batteries didn't get updated. I guess this will be a real--world test of battery life.
