I'm not sure how that works, probably best to call them. If you have another camera on buy a session it might be easier to just transfer the data to that camera.

I'm guessing you activated the Spartan SIM card through ATT buy a session and now it's not working? Are you getting a replacement SIM card or camera?

It was the at&t card that came with the cameras. All 4 have at&t cards that were in the boxes.

The new camera come with Spartan SIM cards they are white and have a blue ATT logo on them, they need to be activated through Spartan. The older cams came with the white and yellowish cards and could be used through ATT buy a session. I'm just trying to figure out what you have going on and what you are trying to do so we can get this straightened out for you.

OK, so you're sending one camera back for a replacement and want to cancel the plan until you get the new camera. Is that correct? If that's the case then you are going to have to contact ATT some how. There's nothing Spartan can do about ATT plans directly through ATT. There should be an easy way to cancel/delete the camera with ATT but I don't know about getting a credit for the plan. It shouldn't take too long to get the new camera, might be easiest to just wait for it to arrive and pop the activated SIM card in it when you get it

You might let everyone know if they buy any camera that has directions to go to buy a session that if the camera fails and hs to be replaced they lose the data plan and will not receive any refund... spartan requires you to purchase a plan before you even know if the camera works.

Where did you buy the camera from? All the new cameras come with a Spartan Sim card and have for a while now.

    Dan,

All new model cameras from Spartan ship with SIMs that must be activated through Spartan. You may have bought a new camera from Gander Mountain, but it may not be the latest model or maybe it’s one that did ship with BAS.

(We are not tech support, we do not have access to tech support’s records, there’s no way we can check what information you provided them. We are asking questions because we know what SIMs the current models ship with and we know what problems people who activate Spartan SIMs with AT&T have. This may not be your problem because you may have older stock that shipped with the BAS SIM.)

The number you need to call to talk to someone at AT&T is on the BAS web site. If you click on the device your bad camera) and scroll down below the Purchase History, it says:

Note: For more information about your payment history, please call 1-800-331-0500.

Ask for tech support and then ask for “session-based” support. Do not talk to anyone who doesn’t know what that is. You may have to tell them to look for an iPad because the cameras are sometimes listed as iPads. You need to know the telephone number assigned to that device, as well.

Dan I'm not skeptical of you at all, just want to make sure we're all on the same page with what's going on. Also just had someone buy a camera that was an old out of production model and it was a real hassle for everyone, that's why I wanted to know where it camera from.
