Shared Cam/Shared Vids
Question....I have several cameras shared. I'm admin. How does the photo+video feature work concerning the shared content?
Example...do the folks on the shared end have the option to view or "request" the video?
Just trying to troubleshoot for future reference. I don't want the cam triggered on squirrels, then it goes to the "shared folks" and they see the video image, press it and use data on squirrels.
Not sure that even possible for them to do though? Can you explain please?

When you share the camera you select either admin or guest rights for them. If you give them admin rights they can do anything that you can do. If you give them guest rights they can only view the pictures and videos and camera settings but can't change any settings or make any requests.

John...I understand that portion of it. They were added as guests so they don't have admin rights.
I just wanted to be certain once a video was requested by me, that it could be viewed over and over once stored to the app or site without additional data being used. I was not aware everything cam as pic thumbnails and you only got the vids upon request until after I sent the original message. I assumed a pic and vid came thru, then you selected the vid request. I didn't want "guests" clicking on vid images if that makes sense.
I assume once it's stored to the app/site the data is used ONE time getting it there. Then it can be viewed as much as needed by me or guests, the same as viewing pics, without burning data.
I probably didn't explain it the best up front.....sorry.
