Stopped Working

I have tried calling customer service twice now and haven't got back to me which it strange because in the past they have been amazing, of course left a voicemail with all information. also email with nothing yet.

 

Anyways. a few days ago my camera started to take pictures constantly with nothing i could tell was triggering the camera. it did this once a long time ago and requested a status report from the computer, the app didn't seem to change anything, and it stopped and everything was fine. that was 3 months ago.

 

Did the same this time it didn't help, so i changed the Trigger Interval from 0 seconds to 30 seconds. it stopped taking pictures but once it was trigger by an animal it would start to take pictures every 30 seconds none stop with nothing in the picture i could see.

 

Went in changed the sensitivity worked until it was triggered same thing animal walked by then none stop pictures, again changed the sensitivity 2 more times, each time same result it would stop, animal triggers it and none stop pictures. Then went to change it again but it stopped taking pictures so i canceled that update. it hasn't taken a picture since and its been 4 days.

 

Its never gone that long without taking a picture, i cant change anything because it needs to take a picture to update. my battery shows full, signal good i have credits and service plan good, up to date sends me the status at night but thats it.

 

any ideas?

    Do the nonstop pictures have a T or M at the bottom of them? Do you have any start/stop times set? What model camera?

    OK, two things I would try are a different SD card and I would also try updating the firmware manually, just in case it ended up corrupt somehow. 32gb or smaller card and class 10, 80mbs minimum. Full sized, not a micro with an adapter.

    Does this mean i have to go get it? anything i can do from here?

     

    And why the SD card change? and do you know what SD card i have in there by the information i gave you?

    Yes, I think you'll have to go to the camera. I have no idea what SD card you have in there but they do go bad and can cause all types of problems. Plus, if you are going to do a manual firmware update you will need an SD card to take to the camera with the firmware on it.
