It’s known issue. Hopefully, it will be fixed with a firmware update. Unless this is a Ghost, where you can set some time between shots, you are getting three nearly identical shots. A lot of us use photo + video instead of multiple shots.

Make sure that your batteries are good. Low battery might cause this as well. Any of your pictures showing anything other than P5 on the lower right corner of the photo?

Argh. This is what I get for answering a question when I’m more than half asleep. Johnny is probably right on target. I’m not even in the ballpark.

When is the expected firmware update expected for this fix?

    Patrick,

I was wrong about the cause. Johnny's comments about battery are more likely correct.

The problem that I was referring to is the second picture in a 3-shot burst being less lit (but not black) than the first (and third, I think). There is no ETA on a FW fix right now.

    No problem...you answered my question.

How are we notified of firmware updates?  Are they pushed out via the app?  Do you get some sort of notification or are we supposed to check back periodically?

Just look at the status report page in the app from time to time. It will either have an orange Update button if there's new FW or it will say that your FW is up to date.

I have the same issue with brand new batteries so i don't think it is a battery issue.  It is almost like the flash does not last long enough by the 3rd photo.

Chandlar, what type of batteries are you using?

Energizer Lithium.  Brand new out of the box.  Photos have P5 on info strip as well.

Have you tried a different SD card? I haven't heard of the SD card causing the flash issues but it can't hurt to try.

No I have not.  It is a new  32 Gb but will try another one and report back.

Make sure it's a class 10 and format it in the camera (fingers crossed)
