    Yes, it should do it on it's own but if you request a status report it will force the change. The time zone does have to be set in the camera settings on the app.

    I have mine set to send a status report every day and I have the correct time zone selected and it has not updated it yet.

    Request a manual status report and it should update on the second picture after the request.
