Not sending pictures

This camera is a joke. Says full bars, full battery, etc. One day sends pics then nothing for 2 days in a row. It is over corn and there are hundreds of pics being taken. Just not sent. Seen the comments.. this isn’t a isolated issue. It is very finicky when it decides to work.

    What model camera? GC-What? Is your firmware current? What SD card are you using?

    gc-z4gb. I am using a camera that has worked fine in the past.  The sd card is same one that worked in the past as well. I am willing to give the benefit of the doubt to the camera and say it simply isn't in a good cell area.  But it says it is 100%.   It also was working fine in that location for 1 night, sending tons of pics, then simply quit. IT says full battery as well. I reformatted both sd card and sim on the app to see if that helped, and it didn't. I watched a deer at 6 yards away from the cam eat from a pile of corn and no pics was transmitted.   It either doesn't like weather before 40 degrees, or the cell reception area suddenly changed.

     

    One final clue, It did say once that the sim card was not in the camera, which it was, I took it out, put it back in. I restarted the camera and deleted the sd.  It said full reception when I walked away.

    As long as you have decent batteries in the camera that temperature shouldn't make a difference. I would go to the camera and make it take a manual picture in set up mode by pressing the ok button after it finds signal, then pressing it again to send the picture. Watch what it says on the screen. Also SD cards do go bad so I wouldn't rule that out yet.

    Hi John
    Went out and manually took two photos , both sent and downloaded just fine, but still not sending subsequent photos. Switching to “On” position the reason?
    Model is ATT GC-A4Gb

    Jeff that's usually the firmware not up to date or an bad/incompatible SD card

    Thanks John, ISD card was brand new
    Firmware updated. So I didn’t make any changes there.

    I signed out of the app tonight and logged back in and all my photos immediately downloaded! What the heck?

    OK, so the camera was sending them you just weren't getting them to your phone. May have just been something glitchy with your phone or maybe one of the settings got screwy and the log out and back in fixed it.

    I set it up this morning now remote, had it working and sending photos in the house last night after that w/o problems.
