Did you have any pending commands in camera management? You can also try a different SD card.

No commands, and yes same result with different SD card.  I was in woods this weekend, I'm going to try a firmware update since last time camera was powered up was last hunting season.  Odd thing I did manage to get 1 photo uploaded to my account before the cameras screen went blank, it worked while I was initializing/setting up the camera, live video while on monitor while aiming the camera, 1 photo sent then nothing but the flashing green on the front of the camera.

Make sure the SD card is “to spec”. The behavior you are describing is a common symptom of a “bad” SD card.

I have the exact recommended card, card is readable on laptap I can see the the 1 picture taken on the card, I will purchase a new one and see if that improves the situation.

Try doing a complete (not quick) format on the computer and see I& that makes any difference.

    Thanks Liz,

I did that as well :) it wasn't a good weekend for the camera (:

It worked like a champ last year multiple photos, and 1 photo this year,

I had read on a forum somewhere I might need to do a firmware update.

I just ordered another card from Amazon, I'll reformat one I have, go to Spartan web site upload firmware then load onto camera from the card.

Then if that doesn't work try again with the new SD card when it arrives.

DYou probably already have this, but just in case: https://my.spartancamera.com/download

You will have to use the Playback method since the camera won’t come up. Hold the Playback button down then turn the camera to Setup and continue holding the button until you se “No Image”. Release Playback then press it again.

if you haven’t used that camera in several months, it definitely needs a FW update. There have been at least two. The symptoms you mention sometimes happen after a camera suffers dead batteries but could happen with a camera that hasn’t been used in a while.

    Thank You to all assisting,

    Finally Got-R-Did

Last Friday 11-26-19  I left message at Spartan Support line, William called me this afternoon, he looked up my camera last firmware update was May 2018 before the camera was gifted to me, he suspected that updating the firmware to current version would be the solution.  He sent me a email with new FW, I reformatted disc again, and loaded the FW sent in the email, while needed it didn't work at 1st.

    I followed Liz's path

Apply the firmware (cameras that do not have FW Update in the menu)

    (SR1, GC-ATT, GC-VZW, GC-VCT, GC-ST3M)

    1. To apply the firmware:
      1. With the camera off, press and hold the Playback
      2. Switch the camera to Setup.
      3. Wait for the display to show “No Image”.
      4. Press the Playback button once.
    2. Reload the camera defaults:
      1. Press the Menu
      2. On the System tab, select Default, press OK, then select Yes.
    3. On the System tab, choose Information and verify the firmware version has changed.
    4. Reset your camera’s settings.
    5. Format the card in the camera to delete any firmware update files.

Step 1 and sub steps 1 through 4 combined with the new FW updates I'm back in business photos sending and receiving on phone app..Now just need to put it up again this weekend at my camp.

    Thanks again all.
