Power save must be off if you want the ability to send text commands to the camera.

Power saving was on , I just now switched it to power saving off and immediately tried to turn power saving back on again to see if by doing this it would cause the system to start responding and now it will not allow me to switch back to power saving mode.

You have to wait for the camera to check in sending a picture or status report for the change to take affect. With that change still pending you won't be able to make other changes until it updates at the camera or you cancel the command.

The cell carriers (especially Verizon) are filtering the messages, basically treating them like spam. That's most likely why you aren't getting them to your text messages. What you can do is try and set up an auto forward from a Gmail inbox. See the link below.

Do you think  they will eventually be selling a 110 power convertor for the Ghost cam ?

Yes I think they will, I just don't know how soon. A converter with a 12 volt DC output and at least 1 amp (1000mah) with a center pin positive that's the correct size should work. *** As a side note this is for the Ghost camera only, the standard model cameras are 6 volt cameras not 12 volt.

I don't know about the pin size but they are both 12v output and one is 1amp and the other is 2amps so they should both be fine.
