Running 3 since early Oct. All has been well. Noticed P3 then P1 on one cam. Soon after P1showed up the pics stopped getting transmitted. Went in to change batts and move cam.

When I swapped the card I noticed the cam was still taking pics, but not sending. It was down for about 4 or 5 days i thought yet during this time still storing pics to card but simply not sending. Even took a pic of me going in to get cam. Is this typical of low battery power to still store yet not send?

Deployed cam in new spot with fresh batteries and swapped card. Connected to server as normal and I left. Status report shows full signal with full batteries but I'm not getting images sent. Going on 3 days with no pics which is not normal for this spot. Photo requests not being transmitted. Status reports seem spotty or missed. I know it's possible it's the card, but could it be something else? Seen this before? Is there a way to begin troubleshooting? This is not an easy cam to get to.

Also, under status report could you keep an eye on "Photo's Lifetime" to troubleshoot the issue? I assume if the card is messed up it will not store nor keep count. I assume this is not a triggered count, but an actual stored count. However, if the card is fine and storing, but simply not sending, does the count increase under "Photo's Lifetime"?

The camera will continue to take and store images without sending them for a while after the batteries get low. Try formatting the SD card from the app and see if that helps, delete all other pending commands first. That photo count is transmitted images.

Formatted. Says format was successful. Scheduled a pic the following hour. Nothing. Suggestions?

Patience? Has the camera gotten your settings request update? What does the command history show? It’s not clear from your post whether you scheduled a pic for the following hour and the camera has contacted the server since you made the request or not.

Yes ma'am it has. Given it plenty of time to correct itself. I'm not exactly sure what else to do other than go in to the cam and swap card.

It hasn't sent any pics on M or via request. It appears to connect with requests via command history but that's it.

    Any other suggestions?

After the format you should have gotten a picture with an F on the bottom. If it is a bad SD card it can keep the camera from getting the settings updates and other requests. What is the date of the last status report?

Never got a pic with F or pic in general after successful app Format. Just requested status report and gave updated report. I've had 2 completed status updates since y'day.

You aren't formatting the app you are formatting the SD card in the camera. I really think it's the SD card since you are getting status reports but no pictures. You can try the format in the camera again. Did you format the SD card in the camera when you first installed it? What size is the SD card? Is it a class 10 and 80 mbs or faster?

Understood on the app/formatting card. Just figure of speech.

Probably is the card. Tried the format again will see if that helps.

Card is an 8 or 16 class 10. Did not format when I put the card in. I run multiple cams with multiple cards so it's highly possible different brand cams and card swaps crossed wires.

    Update:
The issue was a worn lock switch on the card. When the card was installed the motion slide the switch to lock. Hence no pics.

I don't remember seeing a warning on the screen stating the card was locked. Some manufacturers have this warning. It's possible I missed it. Does Spartan have a lock warning?

I do believe that I have seen that before but not positive

The only camera I have handy is an old, old non-cell SR1 and it doesn't have the lock warning, but it may very well be on the cell cams. Like Johnny, I think I've seen that before but can't swear to it.
