Different camera advavtages
What are the advantages of each camera , why would I want to pay more than another if they all are wireless and pictures can be taken via text ? If I buy another camera or two I want to be practical.

All four cameras are exactly the same camera components and radio. The only difference in the first three is the pattern on the case. I don’t know why MO Biological is $10 less.
The first 3 are 6V, the Ghost is 12V. Ghost has small built-in battery and can be used with a direct-connect solar panel. It doesn’t have a separate setup position on the switch, just off and on, so you can’t accidentally leave it in setup mode. The latest model (GC-G4G) has GPS. Ghost can batch send, as well as send as pics are taken. In burst mode, you can set time between photos of 1, 2, or 3 seconds. (There’s probably something I’m forgetting, but those are the important things).
Only you can decide if the Ghost features are worth more.
BTW, sending via text is not recommended. These cameras work best when you use the app. Verizon won’t even accept texted photos unless you use a workaround and send to gmail first then forward from gmail to text.

Today I ordered 2 more Spartan 6 volt cameras directly from Spartan , I need security boxes for the 2 new cameras I ordered today and 2 of my outdated GC-VCTb cameras. Spartan lists them as on back order , I looked on Amazon prime and found some that they say fits the new and old cameras both , what concerns me is that the new boxes have a piece of metal that is across the center of the front/face of the security boxes where as the old security boxes have nothing on the front opening/face of the camera. Will the newer boxes be compatible with the outdated GC-VTb cameras and if so how long will it be before Spartan are restocked with the boxes ?

I don't know anything about the security boxes available on Amazon. The changes to the case are on the bottom and the cable lock channel, not to the front. Some security boxes have that extra metal on the front, some don't.
I bought some CamLockBox boxes from Mike Kirkpatrick at Herd360. I have put both the old style case GoCams and the new style case GoCams on those boxes, cameras running of Spartan battery boxes and using Python Pro cable locks and the case works perfectly for both case styles.
I think the price is about $28 or $30 plus shipping.

I can't say for sure if they will work or not but some of my older 3g camera boxes have the piece of metal across them and some don't. The other thing is when they say new and old do they mean 3g and 4g or do they mean the new cameras with the #2 designated camera case, that's something you may want to ask the seller.

The camera will use whichever power source is higher amps. During the day, that will probably be the solar panel (assuming that’s what you mean by power converter, but maybe it isn’t). At night if you don’t have internal AA batteries, the camera will will off the internal battery, which has a voltage of about 4, or a little less. You can run with no internals at all if you don’t have the camera in a busy location. In a busy location, the internal battery may not be able to keep up, especially in winter (short days, lots of clouds at times in some areas).
If you use lithiums, alkalines, or rechargeable AA (which is what I use), the camera will use those at night until it depletes them.

When I say power converter I am referring to a 110 power converter , where the camera is being used is where I have security lighting running off of 110 and I have a source to use 110 , if the electric were to go out due to a winter storm etc the camera would still have the lithiums to power the camera until electric from the power company was restored.
