Pictures are not getting sent

My camera will not send me pictures all the sudden says there is a firmwear update and a sd card format on the app tried them about fifty times and still says pending on the updates

  They will stay pending until the camera checks in by sending a picture or status report. What is the camera model and where are you getting the data from? How's you battery life, any pics showing anything other than P5 in the lower right corner?
