If I’m paying the $5 a month for cellular service is this the same as paying for premium credits? Or are the premium credits additional cost??

  Data is what the camera uses to send pictures and videos to the server, which then get sent to your phone. Premium is what enables you to use the app/portal, so features like large thumbnails, transmitted videos, HD photo requests, and setting changes.
