The 4g cameras have always sent a status report with the pictures so you have always gotten them. I'm thinking something changed and now you're just getting notifications for them. Look in the app settings and see if there's an option to turn that off, it's usually at the bottom of the page. What type of phone are you using?

Ok, thanks for the information. The camera has always sent a status report with each picture but apparently you (and many others) weren't getting the notifications. Apple had an update yesterday and whatever they did made the status notifications start working.

John I am getting the same information, I have a iPhone 11 and did update yesterday and I get a photo then a status update right after. It doesn’t really bother me unless it’s going to drain my camera batteries

The camera has been sending the status reports all along and you’ve been getting them all along. What has just started happening is that iOS is now notifying you that you are getting them. Before the update, you just weren’t being told you were getting them. Nothing has changed for the camera itself.

You can't turn the reports off but in the app settings you can turn off the status report notifications. It's usually towards the bottom of the page if you scroll down.
