Stuck in start up

Camera is stuck in start up. “ you don’t have to be there” screen like it never boots up.

What model camera? GC-what?

What SD card are you using? Brand, size (standard or microSD/adapter), class (4 or 10), capacity (how many G?), and speed (e.g., 80 MB/s)

standard sandisk 16GB class 10 80MB/s

I’ve tried with and without SD card still won’t boot up

Have you tried with a different SD card? Have you tried doing a full, not quick, format of that SD card in a computer?

Just tried a brand new SD card. Is there anyway to do a hard reset?

No, but you may want to try a manual firmware update using the Playback button method. It’s the last set of instructions on the page. That will sometimes fix problems of cameras not coming up.
