same problem like everyone else

Please please try resetting the camera to default (camera in setup, Menu, third tab, scroll down to default). Take/send manual photo. On app, camera settings. Make sure time zone is set, then request a setting update. Take/sent another manual photo to force camera to update settings. That should fix the problem.

That “off” date probably indicates that your camera was reset to defaults. The only thing you would get would be the status report at midnight of the camera’s time, which would be who knows what actual time.

Some people are having this are similar problems, but it’s hardly everyone. Also, there are several different problems, so “same problem” in your subject isn’t informative to anyone either trying to help or looking for help.

I have done all of what you said, the bottom line is these cameras became a big problem, I really feel all these problems are do to spartan and there server,  the land owner is getting tick off, because I am always having him go out and try diffrent things to get this thing going,

thanks for the offer John, but I have check over everything, the camera is taking pics, but just not being sent me, I think its time to take the lost and move on, what gets me the most I have other brand cameras out there that cost less then this one, and they work like they should with no problems, just makes me sick to my stomach the money I have invested in this thing and to cause so many problems.

Have you ever tried changing the APN? Where are you getting your data from?

Can you give me the date of the firmware update from the status report? It should have the APN option but I'll be able to verify from the date.

There is obviously a problem with your camera, but the problem is not with the Spartan server. I have about 30 cameras running right now (including one ATTi and a couple or three ATTb) and they are all working. The problems that are being asked about on both the Spartan GoCam Tip Tricks and Pics page (not a Spartan Camera page) and on the Spartan Camera page are the usual ones (bad SD card, out of date FW, settings, etc.), not anything that would indicate a server problem.

The time zone problem is an odd one that several people are having but your time problem is not that one, it has to do with the camera resetting and reverting to day 0 for that particular firmware.

I hope Johnny will be able to get you going. I know it’s frustrating.

You mentioned some things that you had done but you didn’t mention doing the things that I suggested, which was why I suggested them. If you had said you’d done them, I wouldn’t have wasted your time and mine by suggesting them. There’s no way for me or anyone else to know what you’ve done if you don’t specifically say so.

It also could be an ATT issue. What I would try next is go into diagnostics on the cameras menu and go into the APN section, it will ask you for a password which is 1-2-3-4, after you enter your APN will be set to either APNbl or APNbr, which ever it is set to change it to the other. Press OK when it asks you to to lock in the change and back out to the main menu. Once at the main menu where you can see what the camera is pointed at turn the camera off for a few seconds and then back to set up, once it finds signal press the OK button to take a picture and then press it again to send the picture. Watch what it says on the screen. If it doesn't send at all then switch the APN back and try the manual picture again. It also can't hurt to try a manual firmware update if this doesn't help.
