Searching

Have a buddy with the same cam as all mine , ATT Blk out 3G and his cam quit sending pics about the same time mine did. I updated my firmware and it fixed mine, his firmware was also old, so I updated it. Prior to the update it would stick on setting...and never send. After I confirmed the update on his, I took a manual pick and hit send. It seemed like it nearly instantaneously read “sent”. I turned it off, back on and on settings and it just sits there “searching for network”.

The crazy thing is the first test pic after the update actually sent and went to the ap. But 1 min later it just searches. I put my camera, same kind, same firmware right above his on the tree and it’s been taking pics ever since, his no pics, just searching for network.

Sometimes as crazy as it seems , if I just take a cam to a new location they sometimes start taking again, then continue once moved back to where it was when it stopped. Haven’t tried that yet.

Have you tried formatting the SD card in his camera?

Try swapping SIMs and see if that changes anything. Same with antennas. Same with SD cards. One thing at a time, then put it back in its original camera.

Yes, formatted his SD and swapped mine that works into his and no change. Put it back in mine and it worked. I have some extra antennas, can try that or swap mine.

You can try your Sim in his camera too. Try defaulting the camera in the menu. Also look at the information screen on the camera and see if the IMEI number is showing and make sure it matches the number on the sticker on the camera.

Walked up to it and turned it on, been off since Wed and it booted right up to a full ATT signal. Go figure. It took a test pic fine, will see if it returns to normal.
