    I would start with a different SD card. Make sure it’s a standard size, class 10, name brand, 32 G or less, 80 MB/s or faster. Even if the card he is using meets those specs, please try another one. Is the green light in front coming on?

    Yes, the green light is flashing continuously for about 5 seconds then pauses and repeats, I will try a new SD card

    You can try manually updating the firmware, since you can't see the screen you'll have to guess on how long to hold the playback button, 4 or 5 seconds is usually fine. If you press any buttons do you hear and beeps?

    I have already tried to manually update it; the beeping option was turned off during set up

    The file that you are downloading to the SD card, is it a bin, DSP or OTA file?

    It is an OTA file

    Try the update again but change the OTA to bin. Make sure there's no number in parenthesis in the file name and lock the SD card. Put the card in the camera and turn it to set up, see if that helps.

    I contacted customer service through spartan and they gave me a firmware update ending in (.DSP) and then I followed the instructions to manually update the camera. It is now fully functional. I appreciate all of your guys help!

    Yes, DSP and bin will work but the OTA won't to fix that issue, glad you are up and running again.

    Hopefully Mr. Kazmerski is still checking in on this. I know how frustrating it is. Hopefully he figures his out as wel.

    When my screen quit working I sent it back to Spartan and they said it had water intrusion and warrantied it,

    You've resurrected a thread that is two years old. You may want to start a new post of your own to get fresh information.

    Have you tried a different SD card? Here's a link to the firmware download page if you want to try updating the firmware manually. Everything you need will be in the file you download and you won't need to change the file extension. However, you won't be able to do that if the view screen doesn't come up.
