New Picture//Status Notifications on New Phone

I got a new phone, Galaxy S10, and now real time notifications are not working. Worked great on previous S7. App Notifications for Spartan is ON Download only with wifi is OFF New photo Available/Download is ON Camera Status Report is ON Seems like everything is set, but no notifications unless I open the app manually. Then pics come flooding in now that it is spring! I've been out to the cameras and had them off/on when repositioning and changing batteries. I'm hesitant to uninstall the app. Any thoughts/tricks?

    I am convinced that there are apps that interfere with background downloading on both Android and iOS. I have an Android tablet that I haven’t used since last Saturday. It has downloaded over 2000 photos since then, although that’s not nearly all of them. However, it has low battery so that may have stopped the latest ones.

    I have an iPhone without a SIM that hasn’t been used in about a week and it’s showing almost 5400 photos downloaded. However, the two iPads I use most often sometimes download when the app isn’t open and sometimes the app has to be open. I wish I knew what caused the problem, but I don’t.

    I checked all the settings mentioned and all were as suggested.
    I have home security app on my phone too, I wonder if that interferes - although I had it on the old phone.....

    I'm going to leave the app open and running in the background and see if I can get photos/status report to load either on M or E.

    I made the change in the video John, but still no updates when E pictures were set to come in at noon. 8-(
    When I opened the app though, pictures came rolling in.....

    I know you said you tried all the previous suggestions but make sure that battery optimization/power saving are turned off for the app in the phone settings (not the app settings)

    After 2 frustrating months of not getting real-time picture notification/downloads, I noticed yesterday morning the feature suddenly started working.
    I had previously made every change suggested on this forum and other websites but I still wouldn't get pictures without having the app open.

    Anyone else notice this miracle?
    I'm thinking a software update from Android fixed it, because I made no changes to my phone between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

    I can'tsay it did but can't think of any other explanation.
    I woke up yesterday to new picture notifications and pictures were rolling in all day yesterday.
    That hasn't happened for 2 months.

    You could check google play and see if there's an update for the app, if there is then that wasn't it.

    I see some updates but I also heard on the radio yesterday that some socia-distancing feature was going to be automatically pushed.
    Either way, some magic in the universe has my pictures coming in automatically and I'm happy.

    Got a new phone again yesterday ( long story short.....don't drop your phone out the window while on the freeway).
    Pictures not coming to app unless I open it again!
    I'm convinced it has something to do with wifi?
    Last time my app started working normally, suddenly, I'd been off wifi for a week or so.
    I'm gonna test this theory for the next week or two to see what happens.

    At 23:32:02 the app started receiving pictures without the app being open.
    A couple times yesterday I opened the app and each time pictures rolled in.
    I closed all apps before bed last night but woke up to picture notifications this morning.
    Throughout the day today pictures have automatically came in.
    I can't definitively say it had to do with wifi, but it's been off for just over a week - and the app seems to function as it is supposed to.....compared to over 2mos wait last time.
