Camera has power but does not take pictures no display in set up mode

Camera quit working , setup mode completely blank , green light on front of camera flashes rapidly , powered with extension cord via Spartan power converter even tried brand new Spartan power converter, light on camera cover continues to flash rapidly and still no illumination in setup mode.

I submitted a work request do I have to wait to hear from tech support before I ship the camera ?

    Yes you need to wait for an RMA number. Have you tried a different SD card? Try putting batteries in the camera and try doing a manual firmware update even if the firmware is up to date.

    How can I do a firmware update if there are no images to be seen on the setup in the camera ?  Are you wanting me to do it via the website ?

    I did try putting new batteries in the camera and nothing changed by doing that.

    Go to the link below and do a manual update for your camera model, follow the instructions for a camera that doesn't have the update option in the menu. If you don't have any sound instead of listening for the beep just give it 5 seconds before releasing the playback button.

    Jeff,

    You do not want to open the file. You must save it to an SD card to put into the camera. I don’t know if you’ll be able to save the file to a tablet then copy it to an SD card. I have only done it with a computer.

    After John sent me his last message I seen how it was done I seen the video etc , I have a laptop I can use. I will see what I can do.
