SD Card Error / Not sending pictures

INFORMATION SHARING: On numerous occasions my cameras continue to send status reports, but stop sending the scheduled shots or triggered movement. I have plenty of credits, full battery’s, running the Sandisk Class 10 16 GB SD cards, etc and plenty of free space on the SD cards. The cameras are the 4-G Verizon version of GC-Z4Gb.

I have multiple cameras set up at the same location for security reasons. So what I have discovered is that if you send the command to the camera to reformat the card, once that happens the camera starts operating again and sending pictures, etc. (or at least mine do). I know this is not ideal because you lose what’s on the card, but for me, if I have a choice of losing some pictures versus driving 300 miles. I’ll lose the pictures. You can still see the on the portal so if you check your pics regularly you know what’s been there.

Just sharing in case this may be an option for others.

Are the cards the faster ones (80 MB/s or faster) or the slower ones (40 MB/s or 48 MB/s). The 80 MB/s tend to be cause fewer problems, but I have had them need to be reformatted in the camera, too.

They are 80 MB/s.

Having trouble receiving pictures. Status reports will come in and set pictures will come in for triggered pictures will not come in I think my SD card is full. How can I Moberly clean the SD card to start over. I do not need to save any of the pictures on it

Robert,

On the status report page, do you have a red Format button? If so, tap that. It’s possible that formatting the SD card will fix the problem. It may not happen until after the midnight status report. If format works, you’ll get a picture with F on the info strip.

How do you know you're not getting motion triggered pictures? Have you looked at the online portal to see if there's gaps in the picture number sequence? How's your battery power?
