"Long" or Telephoto Lens....?
I am not yet owner of one of these cameras.... However, I am looking for such a camera that has a long/telephoto lens in order that the camera be mounted at a distance such as 300ft from the area to be viewed.
Is there such a lens available for the Spartan 4g cameras or has anyone successfully added such a lens...?
My iPhone 6 has an aftermarket lens that can be attached to it. Such lens would appear to work for on these cameras if there were a way to hold it in place over the standard lens.
Thoughts and comments appreciated....

The "target" is a beach front along the Texas gulf coast. The camera would be mounted under the eave of a house overlooking the beach (Gulf of Mexico) and set to take photos on set interval of time, not on motion. The plan is to upload to a website the photos during the day for viewing...
Here is sample from when previous camera was working... Distance from camera to water is approx 100yds

The previous camera utilized analog phone line connection, old dial up speeds. Software on computer dialed out to modem to which camera was connected and once connection was achieved, would begin the download of the pictures you see above and then auto upload them to server of website on a timed interval. Not bad back in 2002, but seriously outdated now. Plus there was the continuing problem of poor connections due to coastal saltwater climate.
Do you know the highest/best resolution photo that the Spartan 4g camera will send to user by text or email attachment...?

You can also request an HD image (full resolution) from the camera if you need to see something better. The newer cameras will also do video, set to picture + video the camera will send you the picture and then if you want the video that goes along with it you can request the video be sent the next time the camera checks in. 5 or 10 second videos

You can also request the full resolution photo, but that’s not automatic and probably isn’t necessary for your application. I’ve never done automatic upload to a web site before but since you have, you probably have that part of the process down pat.
You probably don’t want to post night photos (not going to be able to see a lot at that distance). If that’s the case, you can set start-stop times so that the camera only takes pictures during daylight hours, or only does time lapse during daylight hours. There are all sorts of options with the current cameras that weren’t available when you were doing this.
