    That’s not supported. The only cameras that had that capability were the old 3G cameras that couldn’t do video.

    What carrier? If Verizon, is it on your Verizon phone plan or a Spartan data plan?

    You can try texting *500# to your camera’s phone number, but no guarantees. And if it does work for you, there’s no guarantee that it will work in the future.

    Johnny reminded me that I forgot to mention that Power Saving has to be off. Unless you are running with a big external battery or good solar, that will run through batteries quickly so it’s not recommended.

    Let me ask you this...Is there a way to tell if it is currently still on? We had very high water and I did not have a way to get to it. I am trying to figure out if it is still active

    Have you looked at your status report? You should get one a day. The default time is midnight. If the camera is still working, you should still be getting at least that status report. If you have a status report from today, the camera is still up. If the last status report was days ago, it is not.

    Do you have any scheduled events set? If not, it's a good idea to set some, whether it's photos or status reports or a combination. All my cameras send at least 3 photos a day (9 AM, 3 PM, and 9 PM), plus either photos or status reports at 3 AM, 7 AM, noon, and 6 PM. That way, they're checking in regularly even if nothing is triggering them.

    I am not familiar with the schedule of events but I did get a status report at 12:01 Hopefully I will get another one tonight.

    You’re welcome! I’m glad your camera is okay. Now set some scheduled events so you’ll “hear” from the camera throughout the day even if nothing is triggering it to take a picture.
