    Sounds like maybe you have some commands pending. I would cancel everything pending and default the camera in it's menu.

    In the app, on the status report page, drop down the command history and you’ll have a Cancel button for any pending command.

    However, you cannot default the camera through the app. You have to do that through the camera menu.

    Were you able to take/send a manual photo (camera in setup, point at something, OK to take pic, OK again to send)? Any time you touch the camera, you want to take/send a manual photo befor you turn it on and leave it.

    I did that before leaving it in the woods. Now I am unable to receive Pics or change settings on the app.

    Default has to be done with the camera in hand, it's an option in the cameras menu. Are you getting status reports to the app or online portal?
