I just recently purchased the Spartan go cam. Set up the network registered the camera downloaded the app. In the setting the scheduled events for picture to be taken daily doesn’t take and or send pictures, also not taking or sending pictures in general. Is there a way to problem solve or troubleshoot this without trekking all the way back out to the camera?

    Did you  purchase a data plan? If so what is the camera model and where did you purchase the data from?

    I purchased the data plan through spartan. It’s the go cam through Verizon

    Did you get a confirmation email after you purchased the data?

    When did you put the camera out? if yesterday did you get a status report at midnight?

    Yesterday yes and a status report last night at midnight yes

    Sounds like maybe an SD card issue. Did you format the SD card in the camera? Is the card a 32gb card or smaller, class 10, 80mb/s or faster and a full sized card (not a micro in an adapter)?

    I think that's the problem then. Since it's sending status reports I think everything else is working as it should.

    Changed the card turned it back to on and waited a couple minutes. Walked by and still no pics

    Did you format the card in the camera? Turn the camera off and then back to set up, after it finds signal press the OK button to take a picture and then press it again to send the picture, watch what it says on the screen. Actually the first thing you want to do is default the camera in it's menu.

    Turn off encryption in the camera settings on the app. After the settings update the new pictures should be visible again.

    I did that as well and it just sent me a video that it took on its own and it has a lock on it still

    The next one should be good. After you make the change the camera won't update until after the next time it checks in sending a picture, video or status report.
