Camera took too many photos, now not taking at regular intervals

For a few days, my camera (which had trigger sensitivity: "normal", and 60 minute scheduled photo rate) was taking over 200 photos per day. I think this was due to the tall grass triggering the motion sensor. Then, after 4 days of this high photo rate, the camera suddenly started taking only 1 to 5 photos per day and didn't take any photos at night. Since I have a scheduled photo rate of every 60 mins, this should be at least 24 photos per day with no motion trigger. Battery charge and storage space both looked normal. Any thoughts on what the problem could be here? Thank you.

    Taylor, I just want to verify that you have time lapse set to 60 minutes and not trigger interval?

    John, yes that's correct. Under [2] Trigger Settings, the trigger interval is 0s and the Timelapse Interval is 60m.

    The problem is still happening where photos are only being taken between ~11am and 6pm every day.

    No, both start/stop times are set to"OFF".

    When you look at the online portal check the picture numbers and see if they are sequential or if there are gaps.

    The picture #s are not sequential. The last few I received are labeled 6675, 6678, 6679, 6684.

    All the pictures have a P5 on the lower right corner correct, day and night? Check a few days worth when you look

    Yes that's correct, going back a couple of weeks all photos (day and night) have a P5 in the lower right corner.

    The cellular connection is from AT&T, am I understanding your question?

    This issue is still happening - 8 pics in the last 5 days, and the picture numbers were not sequential (7002, 7020, 7031, 7034, etc). A couple of these recent photos were at night.

    I think changing the APN may help as long as it's not low battery from all the false triggers. You will have to go to the camera though. You will go into the cameras menu and to diagnostics and you will see a section for APN, enter in there and it will ask you for a password, the password is 1234. After you get into that section the APN should be set to APNbl or APNbr, whichever one it is change it to the other. Press the OK button to save the changes when asked to and back out to the main menu where you can see on the screen what the camera is looking at. Turn the camera off and back to setup, once it finds signal press the OK button to take a picture and press it again to send the picture and watch what it says on the screen, if it does send turn the camera to on and let it run taking motion pictures. I would take new batteries and maybe a new to spec sd card with you if you are heading to the camera just in case. Be sure to format the card in the camera.

    I'm not very familiar with the workings of how the camera sends pictures - can you help me understand why changing the APN may help this issue?

    We tried changing the APN at the camera today, but the camera was not connecting to cellular service. When we tried to navigate into APN, we got a "System Busy" message. When we tried getting out of that, we got "Searching for Network". We did a reset of the camera several times over 30 minutes, and the camera was not able to connect to the cellular network successfully. The camera's firmware is up to date, and the SD card is the correct specification.

    You could try taking the antenna off and see if it will eventually stop searching and let you change the APN or you can try doing a manual firmware update, sometimes that can fix little quirks. Have you done a manual update before?

    Yes, we did a manual firmware update at this camera February 2020.

    Try taking the antenna off, the SD card out and even remove the SIM card and see if it will let you enter the menu to change the APN. If you have any pending commands make sure you cancel them.
