Camera won’t send pictures

Just got my Spartan trail cam set up. When I go into setup mode I can see pictures on the memory card but those pictures don’t appear in the Spartan app and have not been e-mailed to me.  Let me know what I’m doing wrong.

    Does the camera show up in your app? Did you purchase a data plan and register the camera on your account? If so are the pictures on the online portal?

    When I open my Spartan App it seems to show a status report. But no photos.

    Yes. The camera appears at the URL you posted but it says “no photos.” However, if I open up the camera and switch to setup I can see that it’s taking pictures. Also, it looks like I’ve sent the camera several successful commands to update settings, through the Spartan app.

    Turn the camera off and then back to set up. Once it finds signal press the OK button to take a picture and then press it again to send the picture. Watch what it says on the screen. It could be an SD card issue too, the card needs to be 32gb or smaller, class 10, 80mbs or faster and full sized, not a micro in an adapter. Where did you purchase your data from?

    That did the trick thanks!!! I was using a 64gb card. I switched to 16GB and it works great now.

    Hey im having an issue with my camera actually taking pictures. The last picture i got was on Sunday night. We have had some wind and rain so I assumed at least a branch pic but I got nothing. Should I call spartan or at&t to see if there is an issue?

    Also my firmware says its from 2016. I bought the camera at a yard sale on 4th of July so it wasn’t updated before I bought it.

    Are you getting status reports at all? How's the battery power, any pictures showing anything other than P5 in the lower right corner? Be sure to look at some night pictures. You're definitely going to want to upgrade the firmware.
