    Dan,

Please email sales@spartancamera.com or support@spartancamera.com for more information on those brackets. I haven't seen or used them because we had a bunch custom fabricated. I don't know if Johnny has, either.

I have used the bracket with the panel, it came in a separate bag in the box with the panel.

On my original email, I tried to explain little bag with little metal clips was included. The little metal clips would not be appropriate for a north facing vertical installation - limited sun exposure. Thanks.

Daniel, can you post a picture of what you have? Normally you use an adjustable mount attached to the bracket to be able to adjust the panel however you want it.

Hi, Thank you for your interest.  There was a typo error in my earlier post.  It should have read:

However, I did contact Spartan on their text support line and I was sent a bracket that attaches to both left and right solar panel edges with a center hole in the metal to allow attachment to the anchor of my choice.  I am not sure if the bracket came as a result of my text or if it came later after the camera and solar panel was received.  I did not receive any communication from Spartan.  Hence, it may be a delayed shipment for my original purchase.

I was hoping for a bracket I saw pictured that was adjustable and the angle of exposure could be optimized - like 45 degrees.

Have you seen anything like that and is it available for separate purchase?
    Thanks, again.

     John,

Thank you for your consistent follow-up.  I appreciate the personal attention.  It took me awhile on a parallel path to get consistent results with the camera, my phone and the web portal.  I finally was able to push the proper buttons after a few tries.  The last move was to check the "every day" box.  It was highlighted in my screen and I assumed the highlight was evidence of activation.  No, a check mark was required. I offer this as another variable when the camera will not "instantly" send motion detection photos.  It may help in a future stab in the dark session.

Also, I have no idea where the corruption above came from.  I resent the comment and both were corrupted.  Let us hope that this comment is OK.

The page you sent me is for a metal bracket strip.  I did receive this in a delayed shipment from Spartan. It originally is included with the starter kit I purchased.  After study, I worked out how to use this bracket with the parts sent with the solar panel. The tree anchor attachment sent with the camera is used and shown in the sales page of the bracket.  I understand why Spartan is offering this alternative to hold the solar panel.

    1) I had the brain-child idea of reviewing the Acopower HY015-12P/15W specification sheet.  I do not know how to attach a pdf to show you.  The spec sheet came with the original shipment from Spartan.  There is a reference and picture of a "facile fixative bracket".  From earlier days I learned that "facile" = "easy".  I like it.  This bracket is also not offered on the Acopower web site.  I communicated with Acopower on their comment support line.  it is too early for a response.  Spartan could offer this bracket.  Any comment?

** 2) My next insurmountable problem as I pursue the installation of the GoCam Ghost.  There is a double female connector attached to the end of the solar panel cable.  The camera has a single female connection.  I see where the panel is to connect to the camera in the Spartan bracket description page.  Your reference to it was very helpful.  Is there a missing adapter?  A double female connector cannot attach to a single female connector.  I tried to send a jpeg and the file size was over the limit.  Can you help with this problem?

Something tells me the solar panel business is on the peripheral edge of Spartan's interest.  Your help is greatly appreciated.

It sounds like maybe you were missing some parts from your original order. I would contact them again because there should have been a cable that plugs into the solar panel plug and has the threaded plug for the camera on the other end. On that link I sent you you should have been able to scroll down to more products. If not go to the Spartan portal and to shop and then products and it should be listed under accessories.
