Below are the setting descriptions for tracking. Has anyone used the tracking while the camera was off? Does it work properly? How it the "off tracking" triggered? Is it constantly transmitting location while off or by only detection or by actual physical movement of the camera? If someone steals my camera and sets it facedown on the seat of the pickup will it still transmit location driving down the road or does it actually have to detect movement with the IR?

(sorry for the bold. I tried un bolding it without any luck)

Camera Locator+

Ghost models only, except not available on the GC-W4Gb. This enables the camera to retrieve its geolocation when camera movement is detected. The information is also transmitted with scheduled event 1 so it is updated once every 24 hours if the camera is not moved.

Camera Tracker+

This enables Camera Locator even when the camera is OFF. Camera Locator must be on for this work.

  With both locator and tracker turned on the camera will transmit when it is moved/tilted. It will also transmit once a day (at least) even if it's not moving.
