I changed my settings to photo and video and now it won’t email me any pics. The app says the camera took pics but won’t send

  How's your battery life? Any pics lately that have anything other than P5 in the lower right corner? Are you getting status reports? How is the app telling you that it took pics but won't send?

  You mention email. Do you mean pictures to the app? If the app is saying that there is a photo, the camera sent the picture to the portal, but it may not be making it to your phone.

  Have you logged in to my.spartancamera.com to see if there are pictures there that aren’t on your phone? If so, the problem is with the app/your phone rather than with the camera. In the app settings (second tab), make sure download only on wifi is OFF and automatically download is ON.
