Camera can’t find service

Camera can’t connect to service, where it has connected multiple times, just says “register network failed, please check your SIM card and restart.” When I go to do hello test it just says “system busy” I dont know what to do with it, tried everything I’ve read.

    Are you getting your data through ATT directly or through Spartan? Have you checked that the plan is active? I would also try a different SD card and you can try defaulting the camera in it's menu. Make sure the SD card is 32gb or smaller, class 10, 80mb/s or faster and that it's a full sized card, not a micro in an adapter. Is the cameras firmware up to date?

    Getting it through spartan, and yes it’s active. I cant default the camera cause when I try it just says “system busy” and I’m not sure about the firmware, how do i check?

    If you look at the status report it should tell you if the firmware is up to date. So when you hit the menu button the camera just keeps searching and won't let you into the menu?

    Yes it’s up to date. No, I can get into the menu I just can’t do anything as in “defaulting it, or the hello test” when I try to do something like that it just says “system busy”

    Make sure there's no pending commands in camera management, also you can try removing the Sim and then turning it on and see if it will let you access the menu then. If you just let it go will it eventually stop searching or does it time out and the screen goes dark?

    There’s no commands pending, and I’ve removed the sim and all of that. Like I said it let’s me access the menu page just won’t let me do any of the diagnostics, just says “system busy” when I try. Is there a way I can get a new sims card? It says there’s not a sims card in it even though it is.

    Dustin, you can email Spartan to get a new one, you can also try cleaning the contacts on your current one with a pencil eraser
