Considerations before canceling service with Verizon.

I am not trying to tell anyone what to do but if you have your camera service with Verizon and you are planning on purchasing another camera you can switch the lines to the new camera and avoid the activation fees.  Just a thought for those who plan too.  I didn't want some one to cancel only to find out they have to pay the fee again later without knowing this is an option according to Verizon chat.  I don't know about yall but I have had enough surprises lately.

  This is for those who have lost their 3G cameras due to Verizon shutting down the service and have them on their personal Verizon phone service.

  Thanks for the info, Brian. I didn’t know you could do that with cameras. You have to pay the activation fee for phones even when you are replacing a phone.

  Elizabeth, I though the same thing but during my chat session while trying to deactivate them that person told me I could switch replacement cameras and avoid the fee.  You know how that goes the next chat may say different but it is worth a try.  I had a friend do this and he said it worked and they did not charge him.
