Solar panel mounting bracket and tree mount

Should the Spartan ghost camera 15kw power saver kit come with a metal bracket and tree mount. I received 1 camera, 1 mounting strap, 1 solar panel, and 1 power cord. There was no panel bracket or tree mount for panel ?

  Make sure to look for some small bags in the box, the mounting bracket and kit has some small pieces that need to be assembled.

  It did not come with a bracket or anything at all that would allow me to mount it

  Shouldn’t there be a metal bracket that mounts to the back of solar panel and what about the mount that screws into the tree for the solar panel ? Or are both these pieces sold separately ?

  On the website for the 15w kit where it lists what's included in the package it lists the bracket but says "preorder" so I guess the bracket is on backorder. It doesn't mention anything to mount the panel with so you'd have to order that separately.

  I see what you are talking about the preorder I tried to order a bracket and there is no shipping time of arrival at this time I think you are right must be on back order I will order the tree mount and I can probably make something out of flat bar in the shop Thanks for the help

  Got my solar kit but the mounting bracket holes don't line up with holes on the panel to attach bracket for mounting to a tree. Am I just SOL or what do you suggest?

  I think you’re not positioning the bracket properly. I’ve seen this question before and I know there’s a video or photos showing how to do this but I’m not finding them just yet. I think the bracket clamps to the frame rather than screws to it.

  I’m going to try to track down that reference.

  Thanks Elizabeth, good video, great help! I had also found the pictures on the Spartan web site under the accessories section where details are given for the solar kit.
