Camera intermittently sending pics

Lately my camera has been not sending pics on a regular basis. I have went to the camera and it will say no sd card. So I have to pull out the sd card and put it back in and restart the camera and then I starts to work for little bit and then does the same thing over again.

    Sorry I meant it says no SIM card not sd card

    Try cleaning the SIM card contacts with a pencil eraser or rubbing them on your jeans. You can also put a layer of scotch tape on the back (non contact) side of the SIM.

    That is a generic message that means the camera cannot connect to the network. It can be the SIM, but it can also be the SD card. Have you tried formatting the SD card or swapping for a different one? (In addition to the suggestions that Johnny made for the SIM.)

    What model camera is it (or what carrier)?

    Alright so I followed all steps and SIM card is still giving me issues. Can I just replace the SIM card?
