Camera stopped sending photos

Hi- my gocam has been working perfectly but randomly stopped taking/sending photos. I replaced batteries, SD card has loads of free space, subscription is seemingly in good standing. I did a system restore on the camera to factory settings as well. I can ping the camera for a status report, however, it just stopped sending photos? Anything I can try?

    Yes? I did that in the beginning and I believe I just did it remotely. Are there steps you know of that I could follow to confirm? Thank you for the response!

    Can you post a screen shot of the status report from the app, including the battery/signal strength indicators down through the SD card info. It may take two screen shots, depending on the camera and your phone. You’ll need to use the desktop version of the web site to be able to post a photo.

    Marc, the camera sent a status report this morning if you didn't get a picture then I think your problem is the SD card. If you look in the command history the format is still pending. Your batteries are also low, especially if they are lithium. If you replace the SD card make sure it's 32gb or smaller, class 10, 80mbs or faster and a full sized card, not a micro in an adapter. Make sure you format it in the camera when you install it too.

    John, thank you for the reply. I put fresh batteries in the camera at the start of the week. This camera takes a lot of photos and the batteries drain within a couple weeks. Do SD cards randomly go bad? It seems that the camera is taking photos because the camera battery indicator is right where I’d expect it to be. Could it be anything with the server? My app? Phone? I suppose SD cards can go bad, just seems odd is all. Please let me know if there’s anything else I could try before I’m able to physically get back to the camera. Thank you!

    Good Morning. My camera has also stopped sending photos as well. The status report looks very similar to yours. Just replace the batteries last week and there is plenty of room on the SD card for additional photos. So if two people are having the same exact problem on the same exact day it would seem to be something other than the SD card. Just uncertain of what that might be.

    My camera has also stopped sending pictures. I put new batteries in this morning and have tried requesting settings retrieval and status reports with no success. I have a hunting partner who has 3 cameras all doing the exact same thing

    I placed my camera out 2 days ago. I have not received any pictures. I guess there is a chance it hasn’t taken any but I find that unusual. Is there anyway to check and make sure it is working properly?

    Marc, the SD cards do go bad sometimes. Have you gotten another status report? If you are going through that many batteries you may want to consider an external battery setup or even external with solar.

    I would default the camera and then try taking and sending a manual picture while it's in setup. Once the camera finds signal press the OK button to take a picture and then press it again to send the pic. Watch what happens and what it says on the screen.

    John, I'm defaulting cameras, test pics are being "sent" on the camera, but I'm not seeing them in the app or desktop. Fresh batteries, new SD cards, formatting, everything that's being suggested. What else can we try?

    Go into the menu on the camera and make sure that the camera is set to premium and instant, NOT auto

    I tried new sd card, formatted card, have new batteries, have plenty of credits and have sent pictures to myself also and it won’t show up on app. Also need help trying something else

    Joe can you start a new topic so we can keep the diagnosis separate please. When you do mention if the cameras pictures are getting to the online portal and not just your app or if they aren't getting anywhere. Also if you are getting status reports or not.
