In reading other posts, does it have to send that pic before it can take another...?

Yes, the camera has to finish sending the photo before it can take another. Depending on the signal strength, camera model, thumbnail size, you’re talking about 45 seconds to a minute and a half in most cases.

Ouch... That sounds like a design flaw to me. Not a fan at all... I’ll be going another direction with my cameras.

I don't know whether photo + video would help. You get the photo, the video starts recording 2 seconds after the photo is taken and can be 5 or 10 seconds, and if the photo is "interesting", you can request the video.

The GoLive will handle things differently but it is still in testing. There isn't a release data or price yet.

Brent, do you have the standard models or the Ghosts? The Ghost has a batch sending feature that allows you to get pictures every 4 or 5 seconds and then sends them to you at up to nine different times that you choose throughout the day.

Hey John, I don’t have the ghosts but wish I did now... Any options for trade in / return?

You'd have to check with who you bought it from. You might want to try the photo+video feature. It's pretty nice and gives your a lot of information, much like having more photos.
