Common question: how long for verizon activation email?

I received by GC-G4Gb-MO this morning.  Paid for data plan.. ..and waiting for Verizon activation.  How long do I have to wait?  shows "Pending activation".  This is torture, like Christmas morning toys but without any batteries :-)

It's only been an hour-- but I guess I'll have to plan something else this weekend because I thought the activation would occur as fast as the email receipt for the data plan.

  Unfortunately, there’s no one answer, which doesn’t help you at all. Sometimes Verizon plans require manual activation so it takes several hours, especially on weekends.

  I posted a response yesterday but I see it is gone(??).  I waited about 3 hours.  Then I submitted a support request.  I got an auto-response saying they were closed, but within 10 minutes I received a real response anyway from support (yay!) and it was activated.  Thanks!
