There are three gaps in sent photos shown below and I did not receive my 5 am Status Report today. It's been working fine all week. It has stop sending all together since last evening.

How's the battery strength? Do you have any pictures showing anything other than P5 in the lower right corner, especially look at the night time photos?

I see the picture you posted now, it appears your batteries are low, especially if they are lithium.

    Hi John,

Thank you for your quick response. Yes, I only use Lithium batteries and see that there are 3 bars on battery strength. Is that too low for lithiums?

I just checked the most recent series of night time photos and they are showing P3

It has started bouncing between P5 and P3 at night.

UPDATE: last daytime photos show P3

Yes, they are getting low. Lithium batteries have a higher voltage than other batteries, they perform very well but when they do start getting low they don't give you much warning. Also the battery indicator reads voltage, it doesn't reflect how much life is left so once your see that starting to drop or see anything other than P5 then the batteries will need to be changed soon.

You may want to look into an external battery set up, they really increase the cameras run time over just using AA batteries in the camera.

Thank you! I will look into that. I've been getting amazing battery life out of the lithium AA especially in frigid temps. I'm a little surprised that this batch died. But then again, this set of batteries has seen a lot of action in the last three months, much more than usual. Too many elusive dogs to help this year!
