Not getting pics

Ran out of credits. Got new debit card and old one wouldn't go through. Put me card in and got another 3 months. Since then I have not received any pics

    My status as of Good back to 9/24. I have tried to refresh and it does nothing. I have not gotten any pics since I put in New credits

    If you got the credits today the camera won't know until after it checks in for the midnight status report. It should start working fine after that.

    No I paid for the credits on the 24th. That's the last status report im getting too

    It’s not dumb. You did not have any way of knowing. I wrote that article because I didn’t know at first and most people don’t. Now you do and you will know what to look for.

    Nicolas, I'm not sure what you are referring to. Can you start a new topic and include your model number and exactly what is happening or not happening with your camera please?

    GC-VCTb go cam/ blackout is not sending me pictures. It was before and I haven’t gotten anything for about 2 days so I went yesterday replaced batteries and still nothing

    It looks like Verizon is finally starting to shut down 3g devices, most cameras stopped around 10am eastern time Monday.

    For our 3G Verizon cameras we stopped getting status updates, pics, etc. on the 28th. Some assume that Verizon has moved forward with suspending their 3G service, but I can't find that anywhere. Seems like some 4G cameras are not sending pics either.

    Scott, I haven't seen anything like a blanket shut down but the Verizon 3g cameras are the ones having issues, the 4g problems we have been seeing are the normal no credits or bad SD card type issues. We did get a report of someone who's father had a 3g cell phone and yesterday received a text from Verizon letting him know that today his phone would stop working.

    Nicholas, the Vctb is a 3g camera, you may have it on your cell phone plan that has LTE coverage but that doesn't matter to the 3g camera.

    Most likely there will be nothing that you or anyone can do, I would give it a little more time just in case but things are pointing towards this being the end of Verizon 3g. Spartan is offering a discount to 3g camera owners, $250 for a standard 4g model, $260 for the whiteflash and $320 for the Ghost. You also get to keep the 3g and use it as a regular non cellular camera.

    I’m sorry your thread has been hijacked by people who have completely different problems than yours, especially since you so graciously started your own thread to keep from hijacking someone else’s thread.

    I forgot to tell you that you don’t need to request a status report. The camera sends one every time it contacts the server to send a pic or scheduled status report so the latest status report is always on the app.
