New Ghost Cam won't recognize SIM card
I've got a new Ghost Cam that will not recognize the SIM card. Starts out saying, "Searching for network, please wait..." Eventually says, "Register network failed...please check your SIM card and restart.
When I restart I go into the settings and information does not have a SIM card # or the MDN for the camera.

Purchased Data plan in early September, tested and it worked. I went out to put in the the timber and couldn't get a signal, so I brought back to town, and used it in town for a few weeks and it worked. Took it down and went back to timber where I have other Spartan cameras and couldn't get a signal...Back to town and now can't get a signal in town either. Checked with cellular provider and there are no issues there, I have plenty of premium credits on my account as I run several of these cameras. I have reset the camera several times with the "reset" button. I have gone thru the settings and reset back to defaults. I don't see any new software for this new camera on the website.

What is the model Matt? Have you tried a different SD card? Make sure it's too spec, 32gb or smaller, class 10, 80mbs or faster and full sized, not a micro in an adapter. Format it in the camera as well. Any chance you can swap the antenna with a different camera to see if that's the problem?

Here is what I got back from Spartan after I explained everything to them. This seems to have worked as my camera is now functional...
Thanks!
If you are sure it's active, then follow the steps below to re-adjust the network connection.
- In SETUP mode, wait as the camera tries to connect to the network. It will fail, and will come up with a “Failed” message on the screen after 2 or 3 minutes.
- When you get the failed message, press OK to dismiss it, then press to MENU > Wireless > Diagnostic, click the OK button.
- Choose "APN Settings" and click the OK button.
- Enter in the password 123456, and click the OK button.
- Use the right arrow key to scroll through the APN options until you get to APN IN, and click the OK button.
NOTE: If the setting was already on APN IN, choose APN BL and click the OK button.
- Turn the camera OFF.
- Wait about 5 seconds, turn the camera back to SETUP and let it acquire signal.
- Once the camera has gain signal, you can try to send a Test photo.
- Press OK to take a photo, the camera will ask if you want to send it, press OK again to send.
- The camera will show Setting...Sending...Sent!
- If it says Sent, then turn the camera to ON, and wave in front of the camera, to see if you can get some photos.
b. If it says Sent, but you don't get the photo online or the app, then on the camera, turn it on to Setup, and go to Menu > Wireless > make sure Send mode is Instant, and Send via is Premium.
